just a little confused about the instructions for creating the bootable dvd.

I am using a borrowed computer to create this disk and want to be certain I don't cause any issues.

I AM doing a 64 bit install and need to copy the file "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools\amd64\boot\etfsboot.com" to the folder "C:\Vista\boot\".

As I understand the instructions I will do the following in the following order...

download and install on the borrowed computer the windows vista SP1 WAIK

download the .exe and the 2 .wim files

start the exe and wait for the files to unpack to the new folder hopefully it is to C:\Vista

cancel the the setup

Copy into the newly created folder of C:\Vista\boot the C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\PETools\amd64\boot\etfsboot.com file which I will find after I have installed the WAIK

then I open a command prompt when I open "windows PE tools" which is on this computer because I installed the WAIK? and enter the following command line prompt

oscdimg -bC:\Vista\boot\etfsboot.com -h -lVISTA_EN_DVD -m -u2
C:\Vista\ C:\windows_vista_with_service_pack_1_dvd.iso

this will create a bootable dvd that i then use on my computer to install Vsta64 onto the clean hard drive I just put in it.

I hope I have all of that correct. If not will someone please let me know. I will not begin these steps until I know that I understand the instructions correctly.

I am the Queen of Murphy's law so I need to proceed with caution.

Thank you again and again and again for the help.
