If you have another hard drive you want to "experiment" with, that is certainly a great idea.
That way if W7 doesn't work to your satisfaction, then you put the old HDD back in.
I see no reason whatsoever why W7 won't work with the drivers I posted above.
I have helped many forum members install W7 on ther H9's H8's and P7's and P6 windows 8 PC's.
It was just a matter of finding an older model with the same motherboard.
No one has reported back that their attempt to install W7 was unsuccessful.
