Hey Littlebob,
I'm sorry you're running into this no boot issue. There are a few things you can try.
First I would suggest a hard reset
1. Shutdown by holding the power button until it shuts down. Remove the power cord from the back of the unit and peripherals attached.
2. Hold the Power button down for 10 seconds. This drains the electricity and gives the computer a clean boot state.
3. Release the Power button. Plug the power cord back in.
4. Press the Power button to turn the computer back on and see if it will load normally.
If you're still getting the same blinking cursor, try testing the hard drive
1. Shutdown by holding the power button until it shuts down.
2. Press the Power button to turn the computer back on and immediately start tapping the ESC key on the keyboard repeatedly until you see the Start-Up Menu on the screen.
3. Once you see the Start-up Menu, press the F2 key for System Diagnostics
4. Choose the Start-Up Test (or Hard Drive test if you don't see Start-Up) and let me know what the results are.
5. If the test produces a Failure ID or Error Code, let me know what that is.
I'll keep an eye out for your reply :)
