Hello Everyone,
I have tried just about everything short of smashing my head into a wall. I cannot load the BIOS on my HP. I looked through all the past responses about pressing esc and F10. What I am attempting to do is set the DDR3 ram slots to 1600 for the 2 RAM sticks I just installed.
I tried accessing the BIOS from cold boot.
Tried loading through the UEFI option in windows 8 (64bit)
Disabled hibernate through the command prompt.
Whenever the computer boots when I attempt to access the BIOS it will beep 6 times with on orange light on the tower. If I touch nothing the computer boots fine. If I attempt to access the BIOS using on of the commands the computer does not boot. It will also boot regularly without me doing anything at all.
Another curious thing is I never see the HP boot logo which I assume is the first screen. THe first image I always see when my monitor turns on is the windows 8 lock screen.
Im starting to wonder if I am actually getting to the bios but when I do the monitor does not display. Please help im going crazy.
