Re: Format Raid0 as regular drive

Hi Dave,

The info on the Intel download sounds like it is intended for the computer that had the Raid0 drive installed. That computer is fried. I am attempting to clean the drive so it can be used on my new computer (Envy Phoenix). I certainly don't want to damage the new computer in an attempt to salvage the old Raid0 drive. Are you sure this should be done?

I also tried writing O's to the first and last parts of the drive using WD's Data Lifeguard Diagnostics tool. The test failed and indicated a code 09  (Listed the sectors tried) "Write zeros error!"

I couldn't find a code 09 in their list of codes.

Any other ideas?

Jim
