http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5192567#N262 After downloading all the Driver Updates, (a few of them had a popup, & I clicked yes or ok to each 1) I went to the Start Button onscreen to turn off the computer @ the end of the day. The Shut Down option didn't work. When I used the button on the front of the computer, I had to wait about 7 seconds holding it in to shut it down. When I went to turn it on the next day, only the blue light on the power button on the front of the tower came on, the screen said no signal, then went blank. I remembered a friend told me if the battry inside goes out, replacing it made the computer work, (when he helped me with an old computer years ago.) I took out the battery, & waited till the green light on the back went out, went to Wal-Mart, & got a new battery. Put the battery in. Still the same thing. Next I tryed using f10, set everything to default, then shut it down. Used f11 the next time, & used system restore. Used f8, booted up, & started downloading Windows Updates (for Windows 7). Still having to take out battery, & use f8 to boot up. It updated about 7/8 ths of the updates, then every one after failed. Downloaded HP Updates from URL above, & followed the instructions to the letter. They all took, except for HP GH80n DVD Writer Firmware Update, & HP SW820 DVD Writer Firmware Update. Both had message; Update Cancelled System doesn't meet minimum requirements. Also, some of the icons in the lower right of screen next to clock are blank, the flag shows up sometimes, but if you click on it, it dissapears. Also I tryed running the Windows Update Troubleshooter, but get an Error message about no icon in system tray, & troubleshooter can't fix.
