The only thing to add would be running Startup Repair 3 times in a row-run it,restart, run again,restart,run again. Often it is 3 things needing repair and the starup repair tool will only repair 1 at a time.A bit lame-but it is a free tool so guess we shouldn't complain.
If you are working on a Windows 7 machine and the owner has not created a System Repair cd before the no-boot issue occured and you need one-there are options.The Repair cd can perform the same functions described in guide and with better results sometimes-such as when you can't get to Startup Repair through F8 key.
