HP 110 provides no information on your HP PC?
Can you provide the product number of your PC? Instructions on providing the product number can be found here.
You should not have to think about repairing a new Windows 8 PC. It should boot to the Windows 8 Desktop. (Image below)
If this PC is not booting to the desktop and functionally correctly then you should return this PC to the point of sale ASAP.
