thank you, sorry for the delay. my computer is an hp Intel Pentium dusk CPU E2200 2.20GHz 2.20GHz model number a6600f running Windows Vista home premium 64 bit with sp2.
At first I was trying to get my CD drugs to burn cds for I tunes, tried everything uninstalling and installing in certain order, I followed someone's directions and used a take control program which I dint think I did correctly, I also used my temp file cleaner and deleted all of those files as well. after all of this I kept getting the error box: locale data files missing please reinstall. nite I can't get into chrome as the shortcut doesn't work, I download it but it disappears before I can install. this also happens with programs I try to install via disc. it seems as though certain links are missing. also now in my Google drive there is a file ehthumbs_vista.db no idea how it got there, but I know out doesn't belong. and nite looking in my drive there is another new file thumbcache_viewer which is an app. I've tried to do a system restore(to a point when it worked not factory) nothing. I just want it back the way it was, I'm no wiz but I'm fairly bright ABD can grasp onto things I have little or no knowledge about quite easily, but when needing with data base files I really don't think trial and error is a good idea.any help would be greatly appreciated and dirty about the typos sending this from my phone and SWYPE isn't always a friend to Me
