I've swapped out to SSD on HP Envy’s. One other than outlook all data is on a separate server and with a 240GB SSD Window 8.1, Acronis 2014, Norton 360 and Nuance  'suits' and Dagon there’s 110GB free but the D(Recovery drive keeps saying not enough space which I’ll deal with later. But the other HP Envy I run a lot of other programs, high graphic games, so I had to install a 500BG SSD for it to work. Since I knew the first one didn’t keep anything else other than outlooks files I guessed it would work and so far it good at 110GB free. I'd us a 500GB at least if you want to use the computer like most people do. See what you use now in hard drive sace when your systems set up and decide based on that. I have the original hard drives on a table in a room. i.e.: my systems operate on a SSD card as C; drive. I have a gaming computer Asus and swapped the 124GB to a 240GB too but left the I believe is a 1TB drive in it any way. This is the 'server' data base for the 2 laptops. I used Acronis 2014 clone and it really was a snap to move the system over but I did use a Thermaltake BlacX Duet eSATA USB Dual Hard Drives Docking Station load the old hard drives and the SSD from the laptop to clone since Acronis wants the old drive your cloning from in a USB port. It was just too easy and I've been running these for over 30 days and all the computers are never left turned off with one used 12+ hours almost every day.
