Hello everyone.
For a few months now my HP Touchsmart 600-1140sc has started going crazy with the fan when I start it up from sleep-mode (I think it's sleep mode at least :-) the mode it goes into when I click the button on the upper right side of the computer!) and sometimes when I've shut it down completely and start it up as well. This is usually resolved by turning off the computer (NOT rebooting), wait a few seconds, then start it up again. This is rather annoying to having to do all the time, as by now the fan usually does it 75% of the time.
I have tried every step in the Danish guide for what could resolve this (power settings, cleaning the fan, updating graphics driver) except the one to update my BIOS. The reason I haven't done this is because on HP's support website there is no BIOS update available! My OS is Windows 7 64-bit
What should I do? I don't want to have to replace my entire computer since I would have to downgrade to a much worse computer than this one already is (for gaming purposes it's bad at least ;-))
Regards,
Luttii
