Brand new Dell xps8700 64bit windows 7 computer. Finally got the HP C6180 printer installed and showing up in printers and devices. It will print just fine. But, the hp solution center will not work at all. It just tells me that the computer is disconnected and it will not communicate with the printer for anything. Obviously, the printer is NOT disconnected or it wouldn't print. Yes I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers from HP and the latest updates. No joy there. The printer is connected directly to the computer with a usb cable. Obviously nothing wrong with the cable because the printer prints just fine. The problem is in the solution center. Because I have always used the HP Solution Center in the past, I would really really like to have it back. How do I get it back without uninstalling and reinstalling EVERYTHING for about the 4th time?
