I need to go from Windows Ultimate 32 bit to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. It never asked for the key at all before it failed. I'm also doing fresh installs. Any ideas? The real problem is that the for some reason the PC will no longer allow me to add any new printers and it thinks that my copy of windows ultimate is not genuine. I have no idea when that happened after over 2 years of the PC running like a top! I am now running Web Root and it finds no issues at all and when I run the Windows Update Check for windows 7 it passes.
I'm kind of up to my butt in kimchi here. Any ideas? I'm running an Intel Core 2 quad CPU Q9400 2.66GHz with 6 meg of RAM, (another reason to go to 64 bit).
Thanks..
