Re: Windows 7 Service Pack failure - missing Keyboard Filter driver - nothing corrects this

It unfortunately did not work.

I continue to have the ServicePack1 attempt to update, by downloading, installing, then configuring.  When it gets to around the 10% mark, it "fails" and reverts changes.

When I go in to "Devices and Printers" and "Troubleshoot" the computer, it recognizes that the "Keyboard Filter device driver is not installed".  The automatic "fix" comes back with "Keyboard Filter doesn't have a driver: - "not fixed".

When I try to go through the control panel to "Troubleshoot Windows Update" it finds and error (but doesn't say what it is) and (supposedly) fixes it.  The interesting this is if I then re-furn that same "Troubleshoot Windows Update", is finds another error and fixes that.  I have replicated that process probably 25 times, and it still comes up with errors then "fixes" them.

Any other thoughts?  THANKS!
