Wait... Update... I looked closer at your photo and your SSD drive is 200gb, you partitioned that drive, and you are installing programs on the same physical drive. I am limited to 120gb on my SSD drive. Will my above idea work? installing programs on a seperate physical drive? Read what I said one more time . That is what I explained that I do.
Nope. Look closer. The size of the SSD drive is reported as 111.79 GB in Windows own Computer Management. That is approxiamately what you get from a 120GB SSD. The drive is a 120GB Corsair Force SATA3 SSD. You will not get 120GB useable space from a 120GB SSD or legacy hard disk.
Disk 1 is 1 Terabyte and disk 2 is 1.5 Terabyte. Notice that is not what is seen in the disk management window. The 1 terabyte and 1.5 terabyte is how the drives are adverised and sold, but not what you actually get in terms of useable capacity.
If you want to use the administrative tools built into Windows to better understand what capacity is available to you...Click on the start button-->type Computer and then press enter.
You wer using Windows Explorer and it only provides basic information. Disk Management is part of the Administrative Tools that provides far more detail and utility. Be very careful when considering creating dynamic volumes. Stick with simple volumes for flexibility.
I strongly advise you to leave the D: partition as it is. If you do anything to it, you will no longer have the ability to use F11 to perform a recovery from startup.
