I have a Pavilion HOE H8-1360t CTO running Windows 7. When I got it I cloned the hard drive to another drive and made that other drive (a Solid State Drive, SSD) the boot drove. Everything went well for three months but then the SSD had some kind of failure and could not boot. So the BIOS started booting off the original hard drive. That was a problem only because none of my programs or data were on it.
I use Ghost as a backup program so I restored the last backup I had made of the SSD to the original hard drive, and now when it boots I have all my data and programs (though the programs are using and storing their data back on the SSD which is still the C drive (the original hard drive is now assigned to F).
But now Ghost doesn't see any of the drives in the box.
Norton tells me that you cannot use Ghost on these drives because the are EUFI and it cannot handle their structure.
My question is, just how does EUFI affect my ability to back up, why wasn't I told of that and what backup program does HP recommend to deal with the EUFI disks?
Thanks
