I tried to install MySQL database yesterday (I know, not an HP product) and got the same error message:
Could not access network location \Hewlett-Packard\\
When I posted the defect on the MySQL support forum, it turned out that several other people had the same problem, and they all had Hewlett-Packard computers. Some of them had to remove a couple of items from the windows registry. Unfortunately, the fix that all worked for them, does not work for me (though I, too, have a HP computer). Here's the link to their discussion: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=64173
It looks like this very well may be an issue for HP support to look at.
What do you all think?
Thanks
