I an currently running Windows Vista Home Basic and it appears that the problem is with this computer. I tried it on another computer and it works fine and that computer has Windows 8. I've never had problems with USB headsets before on Vista. I have 2 headsets, the HP headset and a Logitech PS2 Headset and both work and the mics work. Someone mentioned on another site said something like the audio was feeding back through the mic or something like that. The Model Number is BHP-95NCV. Ihave an HP Webcam and the built-in mic works finr.
