quite a few times I have had my embedded videos, i.e. on Facebook, Youtube, et al, play sound but the video is green
I was told it was a security program not getting along with a Flash Update, coming from a Windows update, probably 8.0 to 8.1
I switched from Defender to AVG and Avast and each time it was perfect for a few weeks, then the same thing.
Eventually I did a refresh, continue to use Defender, and have not upgraded to 8.1
With that:
1. Does anyone know what is causing the video problem
2. Now I have Windows updates turned off, or rather to let me know when available. Would that stop it as I am guessing. Is it safe to TOTALLY turn off updates?
3. A couple things happened. I wanted to go back to a previous point because of something about this, as well as another thing, but there were no restore points. Might you tell me how to turn them on and set one.
