Computer freezes everytime i print

I have an HP Pavillion and HP Deskjet 3520.

I installed the disks as requested and the printer worked fine for a week or so.

Now everytime i go to print from whichever program the computer freezes.

I can still email the printer but not from the computer.

Any clues, Windows 8 user
